Team Fiji for athletics is now a full squad as Banuve Tabakaucoro arrived in Saipan ahead of the 2022 Pacific Mini Games.

Tabakaucoro and other members of Team Fiji will continue preparations today under the watchful eyes of coach, Albert Miller.

Team Fiji Chef de Mission Ajay Ballu says the team will also have a feel of the facilities and routes to competition venues.

Ballu adds that the teams are slowly beginning to adapt to the humidity in the Northern Marianas while at the same time limiting unnecessary movement and to stay COVID-19 safe.

He says Tennis athletes William O'Connell and Sairoise Breen will join the rest of Team Fiji later today.

The Pacific Mini Games village officially opens tomorrow.
