Minister for Education Premila Kumar.

Minister for Education, Premila Kumar says teachers who had their COVID-19 vaccines late and had their teaching registration terminated can reapply for a teaching position if they are fully vaccinated.

She says they can reapply if there is a vacancy.

Meanwhile, the Fijian Teachers Association General Secretary Paula Manumanunitoga says some teachers were sick and could not receive their jabs on time.

He says these teachers are now fully vaccinated.

Manumanunitoga claims that teachers are being treated like ants.

He says the Association is disappointed by the comments made by the Education Ministry and is pleading to the leaders of the nation to consider the plight of the citizens of this country.
