There was a head-on-collision between a taxi and another vehicle along Queens Highway in Kalokolevu.
Police say a vehicle heading towards the west from Suva allegedly lost control causing it to veer onto the opposite lane, colliding with a taxi which was heading towards Suva.
The passengers and driver of the taxi received serious injuries and are in serious condition.
Police, military, navy and fire officers were at the scene to assist.
