The Tafaga Outrigger Canoe Club have won the 2024 Fiji Outrigger Canoe Racing Season with 16,340 points, ahead of Nadi Bay with 13,375 points and Takia in third place with 9,785 points.

They say this victory marks a momentous achievement for Tafaga, showcasing the club’s unwavering spirit, resilience, and commitment to excellence despite numerous challenges throughout the season.

They add the win was attributed to a collective effort, with a special emphasis on youth development within the club.

They also highlighted that a key factor in this success has been Tafaga’s Elite Training and Skills Program, which has consistently focused on refining techniques, improving physical endurance, and fostering mental resilience.

The program’s proven results were evident throughout the season, as athletes displayed exceptional performance in both individual and team categories.

They add this initiative highlights Tafaga’s forward-thinking approach to building competitive athletes while maintaining a strong focus on community and personal growth.

They say this incredible season would not have been possible without the unwavering support of parents, families, and the wider Tafaga community.

They add this remarkable accomplishment stands as a testament to the club’s dedication to nurturing and empowering young athletes.
