Suva is first team to qualify for IDC semi finals

Suva is the first team to qualify for the semi final of the 2023 Courts IDC after beating Rewa 2-1 in their second group match.

Setareki Hughes scored for Rewa in the 20th minute however, his brother Bruce Hughes levelled the scores in the 43rd minute.

Dave Radrigai scored Suva's winning goal in the 71st minute.

Suva coach Ravinesh Kumar says the players panicked a lot and lost possession however, after settling down, they eventually kept possession and scored.

In other matches, Labasa beat Tailevu/Naitasiri 3-2, Ba and Lautoka finished the match at 1-all while Navua beat Nadi 2-0.

Rewa will take on Navua at 3pm while Suva will faces Nadi FC at 5pm in their final pool matches.
