Suva and Lautoka draw 1-1 while Labasa beats Nasinu 2-0 in VPL

The Suva soccer team has missed the chance to top the Vodafone Premier League points table after their match against Lautoka ended in 1-1 draw this afternoon at the ANZ Stadium.

Sairusi Nalaubu scored his 7th goal of the season in the VPL as Suva led 1-0 at the break.

Sitiveni Cavuilagi equalized for Lautoka in the second half.

Suva is now 2nd on the points table with 19 points.

In another match, Labasa beat Nasinu 2-0.

Both goals were scored by Ilisoni Logaivou.

Labasa now sits 6th on the VPL table with 10 points. Nasinu has eight points and has dropped to 7th place.
