Kaiava Francis of Suva Grammar School will miss out on the Coca-Cola Suva Zone II athletics meet this week.

Francis is medal prospect for Suva Grammar and team Fiji after he cleared a height of 1.95 metres in high jump to qualify for the Pacific Mini games.

Francis is the only secondary school athlete who is part of a twelve member Fiji athletics squad to the Mini Games in the Northern Marianas.

fijivillage has sent questions to Coca-Cola Games organiser Vuli Waqa, on whether Kaiyava’s qualification for the coke games will be considered as he is on national duty.

Waqa is yet to respond.

The Suva Zone II will be held on Wednesday at the ANZ Stadium.

Meanwhile the new dates for the Coca-Cola Games is now 18th to 20th August, 2022.
