A suspended radio announcer, a 21-year-old student and a 28-year-old unemployed man have been charged with one count each of unlawful possession of illicit drugs.

They will appear in the Nasinu Magistrates Court today.

It is alleged that the three were taken into custody after Police raided the car that the radio announcer was driving on Tuesday afternoon.

It is alleged several parcels of dried leaves believed to be marijuana were seized from the vehicle.

A further search at the radio announcer’s home led to the alleged discovery of more parcels of marijuana.
