The suspect involved in the stabbing of a Fijiana 7s Olympic bronze medalist has been questioned and released while the player has been discharged from the CWM Hospital.
The player was admitted at the CWM Hospital last week after she was stabbed while trying to stop a fight that occurred at her home in Suva.
Police say the victim allegedly tried to stop a fight between a relative and a friend when the incident occurred during a drinking party in the house.
Investigations continue.
