Super Rugby Pacific CEO calls on Fijian fans to keep supporting the Drua

Super Rugby Pacific CEO calls on Fijian fans to keep supporting the Drua

Super Rugby Pacific CEO Jack Mesley has called on Fijians to keep supporting the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua, despite the team not having a good run so far in this year’s Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

Mesley says it is great to see so much passion, and there have been some recent difficulties in terms of performance by the team, but the fans need to stick with their team through the ups and downs.

He says that is what being a fan is, as it is not only about celebrating the wins but also being there for the team when they lose.

Meanwhile, following their dominant win over the Western Force in Lautoka over the weekend, the Drua have moved up to 10th place with 20 points.

They will be on a bye this week, and then will head to Brisbane to take on the Reds in their last match of the season.
