This weekend’s Vodafone Super Deans U18 quarter final matchup between defending champions Queen Victoria School and Nasinu Secondary School will not only be a repeat of last year’s final, but it will also determine whether Nasinu can avenge their loss, or will QVS continue their journey to defending their title this year.

Nasinu will be aiming to avenge their 27-13 defeat in last year’s final, while QVS is determined to keep their title defence alive in pursuit of a historic three-peat.

Nasinu sent a strong warning to their opponents after thrashing Nabala Secondary School 57-10 in the playoffs over the weekend, showcasing their attacking prowess and hunger to go further this year.

QVS, who have held the Deans Trophy since 2023, will be eager to maintain their dominance but know that overcoming a fired-up Nasinu side will be a stern challenge in this knockout fixture.

QVS will take on Nasinu at 5.10pm this Saturday at Churchill Park 1, Lautoka.

In other U18 quarter final matches this weekend, Ratu Kadavulevu School will take on Cuvu College at 12.45pm, Suva Grammar School will play Lelean Memorial School at 2.10pm, and Natabua High School faces Marist Brothers High School at 3.35pm.

All U18 matches will be played at Churchill Park 1.
