The musical collaboration between Fijian singer Sumeet Tappoo and ‘bhajan samrat’ Anup Jalota on their album 'Legacy' has succeeded since its release.

The album includes “Chaturang,” a classical masterpiece rooted in the Shyam Chaurasi Gharana and “Prabhuji Tum Chandan Hum Paani,” a devotional track enhanced by a live symphony orchestra.

Music critics have particularly praised the album’s seamless blend of classical and contemporary elements.

The album has received praise across platforms, with tracks like 'Raabta', 'Meherbaniyan' and 'Hari' emerging as listeners’ favourite.

Tappoo says the album is a reflection of the guidance, love, and inspiration that connects people through music.

He adds that this album represents not just their journey, but the timeless tradition of the guru-shishya parampara.

Jalota says they never anticipated such an overwhelming response.

He also reflected on his relationship with Tappoo, saying he saw a spark in him when he used to attend his concerts.
