Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar

As the new school term starts today, Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar says students who have not yet redeemed their subsidised e-Transport Blue Cards can redeem it at any bus with an e-ticketing machine.

Akbar says the cards can also be redeemed at e-ticketing machines available at any Vodafone Fiji Outlet, Ministry of Education Transport Assistance Unit Office or any District Education Office.

The teachers began Term 3 of the 2020 Academic Calendar yesterday and will start teaching from today.

Akbar also says while Fiji is COVID contained, teachers, parents and all stakeholders are reminded to continue practising hygiene and other essential COVID prevention measures as a precautionary measure.
