Assistant All Blacks Coach Tamati Ellison is hoping to strike the balance when they play France, and that is playing a high pace game against the French.
Ellison says the cohesion from the great Super Rugby season this year and the All Blacks' performance from last year will provide that needed balance, playing at a venue where the weather will be grim.
The Assistant Coach says, despite comments being made about the French side sending their second-string team, he is maintaining his stand as a defence coach that it is a test match and he will prepare the players for success.
He says the players have been building on clarity and driving through with connection.
The All Blacks will face the French side tomorrow at 4.35pm in Dunedin, NZ.
