No arrests have been made in the home invasion case on Tuesday at the new sub-division in Tacirua East in Nasinu.

Police say they are continuing with their investigations.

Allan Rogers and his wife were asleep when someone broke into their house and stole their vehicle and other valuable items.

The vehicle was recovered on Tuesday.

Rogers says when they woke up at around 5.30am on Tuesday, he realised that their front door was open and knew they had been robbed.

He says when they looked around they realised that his work bag that contains his wallet as well as his wife’s mobile phone and bag were missing.

The wife’s bag contained payments for her cake business.

Rogers says they know the robbers did enter their bedroom at one point because his wife’s phone was next to her.

He says it is a very scary situation and he is grateful that his wife did not get hurt.

Rogers adds it is better to lose material things than lose a life.
