Steve Long has been appointed as Digicel Pacific’s CEO and lead its Hub Markets, which include Fiji, Tonga, Samoa, Vanuatu, and Nauru.

Long says he is passionate about telecommunications because it plays a critical role in connecting people, communities, and businesses.

He adds that joining Digicel Pacific offers a unique opportunity to engage with the vibrant cultures and dynamic commercial landscapes across the Pacific.

He says he is energized by the opportunity and deeply committed to learning from the region, building strong relationships, and helping teams and customers thrive.

Digicel Pacific describes him as a dedicated senior executive with over 18 years of experience in telecommunications, noting that since joining Telstra eight years ago, he has held various senior executive positions across the Consumer, Business, and Wholesale segments.

Telstra International CEO Roary Stasko says Long brings a wealth of experience and energy to Digicel Pacific, and that his passion for developing people, along with his strong commercial acumen, will be invaluable in driving the continued success of the Hub Markets.
