Minister for Education, Rosy Akbar has advised students and teachers in flood affected areas to exercise safety measures and not to go to school today.
Akbar says parents should use their discretion and not send their children to school if they know that they could be affected by flood waters.
She says teachers can advise their heads of schools if they are affected and cannot make it to work.
