Families can now look forward to a stress-free start to the school year as Sports World Fiji launches its highly anticipated Back-to-School Sale for students, teachers and parents.

In an interview with fijivillage News, Sports World Manager of Procurement, Export and Business Development, Lalin Shandil says customers can expect a variety of products for the sale, including school bags from well-known brands like Puma, Andamen and Safari along with sandals from brands like Red Chief.

He says alongside back-to-school items, Sports World is also running a Christmas shopping campaign with gift ideas for kids.

Shandil says this campaign allows parents to purchase gifts for their children during the holiday season.

He says Cyber City provides IT equipment for students and teachers, while Courts offers a selection of brown and white goods, which are part of the same promotion as the Sports World.

Shandil says the new initiative this year regarding sportswear vouchers is customers can purchase $300 or $500 vouchers and use them to buy school stationery and uniforms, eliminating the need for direct cash payments.

He says as the year ends, many businesses will close, making this sale a great opportunity to purchase items ahead of time.

He assures that Sports World’s priority is to provide first-class service to all customers, with staff ready to assist.

He further says this year’s sale is different from previous years due to the introduction of new brands, such as a new Safari bag and a six-month warranty offered on bags.

When asked about future plans, Shandil says Sports World will continue to hold seasonal sales, planning events around key occasions throughout the year.

Shandil extends a warm message on behalf of the Sports World family, wishing all students, parents and the wider community a Merry Christmas, a Happy New Year and encouraging everyone to stay safe, enjoy the festive season and have a happy shopping experience.

Meanwhile, the Fiji HSBC 7s players were also present at the event for pictures and autographs, with the Dubai 7s trophy on display for families to take photos with.
