Sowakula and Narawa scores as Chiefs beat Highlanders

Fiji born Pita Gus Sowakula and Emoni Narawa scored a try each for the Chiefs as they defeated the Highlanders 26-16 in Super Rugby Pacific this afternoon.

The Chiefs scored two tries in the first half through Sowakula and Sam Cane while Josh Ioane converted two penalties, giving them a 16-6 lead at the break.

Narawa crossed over the try line in the second half through a play that was started by Sowakula.

The Highlanders managed to score only one try from Dan Lienert-Brown.

The Crusaders meet the Hurricanes at 6.05 tonight, the Reds will face the Rebels at 8.45 tonight and the Brumbies meet the Western Force at 3pm tomorrow.
