Dr Diva Singh has been appointed as the new President of Ba Football Association after fans demanded a change in leadership at the Ba FA.

BA Football says this move comes after Dr Singh applied for club transfers to Young Champions Football Club and Clopcott Football Club in Ba, which were deemed a conflict of interest as he was also the coach of Tavua Football Club.

They say Dr Singh now faces the challenge of restoring Ba's lost glory.

They further say he will also serve as the technical director of the Ba coaching panel, bringing his expertise from his time as technical director during Ba's 2022 Pacific Cup win.

The Association says having been named the 2024 Fiji Football Association Coach of the Year, Dr Singh is no stranger to success, with notable achievements such as winning the Inter District Championship and securing promotion for Tavua.

Meanwhile, Dr Singh expressed his gratitude to fans and players of Tavua for their support throughout the past season and thanked them for their continued belief in his leadership.
