Singh and Sharma win Radio Sargam & Navtarang Diwali Sweets and Savouries competition

Madhu Singh and Anjalin Sharma have won the Radio Sargam and Navtarang Diwali Sweets and Savouries competition respectively with Golden Harvest Instant Dairy Fresh Milk Powder.

Singh who is from Vuci, Nausori has won $250 cash and gift packs.

Singh says she has been preparing for this competition with her daughter who came to help her from Nadi and this is the first time she has won something.

Meanwhile, 2nd prize winner Momeena Khan won gift packs and $150 cash while Sushil Mati of Navua won the 3rd prize and received gift packs and $100 cash.

Anjalin Sharma who won the 1st prize in the Radio Navtarang competition also received $250 cash and gift packs.

Sharma says she will not be celebrating Diwali this year due to a death in the family and has wished everyone a happy Diwali.

2nd prize winner Shakuntla Chand says she is proud of her achievements and thankful for her family's motivation.

The 63-year-old says she woke up early morning to prepare some of her sweets and dishes with her son.

3rd prize winner Rajesh Chand of Wainadoi, Navua won gift packs from Ashabhai and $100 cash.
