A couple appeared in the Sigatoka Magistrates Court this afternoon charged for allegedly killing a 18 year old student whose body was found outside his girlfriend's home in Waiqali Settlement, Maro, Sigatoka.
The incident happened last month.
Mohammed Naushad and Nazreen Nisha Khan are charged with a count each of murder.
Naushad is also charged with criminal intimidation.
They appeared before Magistrate Joseph Daurewa.
Both have been remanded in custody and the matter has been transferred to the Lautoka High Court which will be called on the 25th of this month.
Police had earlier said it was believed to be an alleged suicide case however investigations proved otherwise.
