The Cronulla Sharks have moved up to fourth place in the NRL points table following their 31-26 win over the Melbourne Storm last night.

The Sharks had a great start, scoring four tries through Ronaldo Mulitalo, Addin Fonua-Blake, Daniel Atkinson and KL Iro in the first half.

Storm managed to score only two tries in the first 40 minutes as they trailed 12-25 at halftime.

Tries to Xavier Coates and Nick Meaney at the start of the second half gave the Storm some hope, but the Sharks had a different story as Atkinson crossed the try line for his second to extend their lead to 31-22.

Coates scored his third try in the 67th minute, but it was not enough to give the Storm the win.

In other results, the Warriors beat the Dolphins 16-12, and the Sea Eagles thumped the Cowboys 24-6.

Coming up today, the Broncos will take on the Dragons at 4pm, the Raiders will meet the Titans at 6.05pm, and the Wests Tigers will face the Rabbitohs at 8.15pm.
