If the Fiji Water Flying Fijians were to compete in the Rugby Championship, there is a need to get the services of all the Northern Hemisphere players to be able to put the best team forward.

This has been highlighted by Flying Fijians coach Mick Byrne, who says, the fact that the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua players are competing every week in the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific competition, they are getting exposed to a lot of those Rugby Championship players.

Byrne says, for now, at this stage, they will be doing everything they can to defend the Pacific Nations Cup title.

Meanwhile, the Flying Fijians will have two test matches against the Wallabies on the 6th of July in Newcastle and Scotland on the 12th of July at the HFC Bank Stadium before the PNC kicks off on the 22nd of August.
