Seruvakula shortlisted for Flying Fijians’ top job

Former Rooster Chicken Fijiana 15s coach Senirusi Seruvakula is one of the coaches shortlisted for the vacant Flying Fijians head coach position.

This was confirmed by Fiji Rugby Union Acting CEO, Tevita Tuiloa in an interview with fijivillage News.

Tuiloa says Seruvakula has proven himself in the local and international scene, and it is deserving that he is shortlisted for the job.

He also confirmed that there was a lot of interest shown by local and overseas coaches, but it will come down to the decision of the board.

The Acting CEO also confirmed that a decision on the successful candidate will be made by the end of the month along with the naming of the new Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua head coach.

Meanwhile, the Rugby World Cup will be held from the 8th of September to the 28th of October, 2023.
