Seruvakula names his maiden squad for England match

Rooster Chicken Fijiana 15’s head coach Senirusi Seruvakula has named his maiden 23-member squad to face England in their debut Rugby World Cup match on Saturday.

Seruvakula has named Brumbies loosehead prop Iris Verebalavu, together with hooker Vika Matarugu and Queensland Reds tighthead prop Siteri Rasolea in the front row.

Sereima Leweniqila will captain the side and will pair up with Asinate Serevi at locks.

The backrow will include 19-year-old Netherlands-based Sulita Waisega who will start blindside flanker together with Ema Adivitaloga at openside.

Karalaini Naisea will start at number 8.

The backline will have depth with the inclusion of three sevens players.

Lavena Cavuru and Merewalesi Rokouono will start at half back and first five eight respectively while Sesenieli Donu and Raijieli Laqeretabua will provide the aggressiveness in the midfield.

Inform winger Vitalina Naikore is on the blind wing, Alowesi Nakoci on the right wing while Roela Radiniyavuni will start at fullback.

The Fijiana will take on England at 3.45pm Saturday.
