A woman is the latest road death victim after she died in a serious car collision this afternoon at the Nadi Back Road.
Police say the accident occurred around 2.15pm today.
They say the victim was heading towards Nadi Town when the vehicle she was travelling in collided with an oncoming vehicle driven by a 32-year-old man who was trying to overtake another vehicle.
Police say the victim and the 62-year-old female driver of the vehicle she was travelling in were rushed to Nadi Hospital where she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Investigation into the accident is underway.
