Saukuru of Marist dedicates gold medal win to his family

Ebenezer Saukuru of Marist Brothers High School who won gold in the sub junior boys javelin says he could have done better by dedicating more of his time in training but his happy that he has managed to win gold in this event.

Saukuru’s plan for next year is to break the record for the junior boys javelin.

He dedicated his win to his parents and siblings who helped and supported him.

Jone Waqanivere of Queen Victoria School took the silver while Kiniviliame Rokotagane of Nasinu Secondary School settled for the bronze medal.
