SODELPA files 53 candidate nominations

SODELPA Leader Viliame Gavoka, flanked by senior party executives during the filing of their candidate nominations today.

SODELPA has today confirmed the party has filed 53 candidate nominations for the 2022 General Elections.

The Leader of SODELPA Viliame Gavoka says he is encouraging Fijians to exercise their right to determine the future path they shall take to recover freedom, truth and justice, fairness and equality which also include human rights, the rights of the indigenous people of Fiji and the rights of all Fijians.

Gavoka says he is very confident and excited to file the 53 SODELPA candidates who will fight to win the rights to serve the people and take Fiji forward.

He says they are at the closing of this chapter in Fiji’s history and a beginning of a new one.

Gavoka says they have selected the best SODELPA warriors who will win the election and form the next government.

He also says they will maintain their stance on the ideals of their founding principles and they will not compromise on their core political ideologies.

The 2022 General Elections will be on the 14th of next month.

Pre polling will start in selected areas from December 5th.
