The SODELPA Management Board meeting is underway at the party’s headquarters where a decision is expected to be made on whether the 3 SODELPA MPs will form a coalition government with the People’s Alliance/National Federation Party or the FijiFirst Party.

While speaking during a press conference earlier, SODELPA Leader, Viliame Gavoka stressed that the majority vote of the party’s management board will decide what they will do after taking everything into consideration.

He made these comments after some senior members within SODELPA had earlier pushed for them to join the FijiFirst while others in the party were against this option.

Gavoka made it clear that the full management board will decide, and even he had opted out of being in the negotiation team which is headed by Anare Jale.

Gavoka says the FijiFirst and People’s Alliance have come back with their proposals, and these will be put on the table for the management board to decide.
