The Social Empowerment and Education Programme Office has organised a toy and book Christmas drive for the underprivileged children of Namosi Kindergarten.

Communications Officer Taitusi John says they launched the drive last Friday and are requesting families to donate unused children’s books and toys.

John says they are hoping to collect the items by this Friday and hand it over next week as the children need books.

He says they are a getting a good response from people who have already made donations.

People can drop the toys and books at the Social Empowerment and Education Programme Office at 61 Richards Rd Domain or call 3100170 to make arrangements for a pick up in the Suva area.
