The Seventh Day Adventist Church emphasizes its role in addressing social issues by nurturing young people, strengthening families, and promoting love as the foundation of society.
The church president, Nasoni Lutunaliwa says they cannot claim the church has done enough, but they will continue working together to tackle these issues.
Lutunaliwa highlighted that the church exists to help people realize their God-given gifts and potential while tackling root causes of social problems.
He also stresses the importance of parental roles, quality family time, and spiritual guidance in shaping children’s lives.
He adds the church also reaffirmed its commitment to continue working with other denominations, government, and stakeholders to combat the social ills.
