No Fiji Airways routes affected amid Middle East tensions

No Fiji Airways routes have been affected by airspace closures or operational restrictions linked to the ongoing tensions in the Middle East.

The airline confirmed to fijivillage News that its flights are continuing to operate on normal routings as it closely monitors developments in the region and the potential impact on global aviation operations.

Fiji Airways says it is also keeping a close watch on global fuel markets, noting that sustained increases in fuel prices could require a review of parts of its network and capacity in the coming weeks.

However, the airline says its schedule currently remains unchanged.

The national carrier says it will continue to monitor the global aviation environment to ensure safe and efficient operations for passengers.

Fiji Airways also highlighted that Fiji’s geographic location and relative isolation continue to support travel demand, with the country maintaining its reputation as a safe and family-friendly destination.

The airline says it intends to operate its full schedule as planned while continuing to support tourism, trade and connectivity for Fiji and the wider Pacific.
