An injury-time goal by Cristiano Ronaldo has given Manchester United a 2-1 win over Villarreal in a UEFA Champions League group match this morning.
Paco Alcácer scored the only goal for Villarreal which was equalised by Alex Telles in a matter of minutes.
In another match this morning Juventus beat defending champion Chelsea 1-0.
Federico Chiesa scored the goal for Juventus.
In other matches, Benfica beat Barcelona 3-0, Bayern Munich beat Dynamo Kyiv 5-0, Atalanta beat Young Boys 1-0, Zenit St Petersburg beat Malmö FF 4-0, RB Salzburg beat Lille 2-1 while Wolfsburg and Sevilla finished the match at 1-1.
