Suva and Nasinu Market will remain closed until further notice

Markets in Suva and Nasinu will remain closed until further notice due to the ongoing effects of Tropical Cyclone Vaianu.

The Suva City Council confirmed that Suva Market will remain closed until it is deemed safe to reopen.

Other popular public spaces, including My Suva Park, Albert Park, Sukuna Park, and Thurston Gardens, will also remain closed.

All markets in Nasinu are likewise closed, with the Nasinu Town Council urging market vendors and members of the public to adhere to the closures for their safety and wellbeing.

Residents are advised to stay informed through official updates and take all necessary precautions during the severe weather conditions.
