Real Madrid and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest paid athlete in the world according to Forbes

Real Madrid and Portugal superstar Cristiano Ronaldo is the highest paid athlete in the world according to Forbes.

Ronaldo earned US $93 million last year which included $58 million US in salaries and winnings and $38 million endorsements.

Basketball superstar LeBron James who is currently playing in the NBA finals series for the Cavaliers against the Golden State Warriors, came in second with $86.2 million US.

Barcelona’s Lionel Messi came in third with a earning of $80 million US for the past 12 months.

Roger Federer and Kevin Durant make up the top five athletes.
