Marika Rodu has been appointed to prepare the Digicel Fiji National Men’s team for the upcoming Tri-nations FIFA international friendlies.

The Fiji Football Association says the process of identifying a new national coach is incomplete.

Fiji FA President Rajesh Patel says OFC High Performance expert, Robert Sherman, will be coming in to assist Rodu.

Patel says during the Tri-nations series, Sherman will also oversee the preparation of the Digicel Fiji National Under 20 team who are preparing for the FIFA U-20 World Cup.

Solomon Islands and Vanuatu confirmed their participation in this series to make it a four-team competition which includes the Digicel Fiji U-20 team.

Solomon Islands will take on the Fiji U20s at 2pm while the Bula Boys will take on Vanuatu at 5pm on the 20th of this month, at Churchill Park.

On the 23rd of this month, the Bula Boys will take on the Junior Bula Boys at Fiji FA Academy at 2pm and the Solomon Islands will face Vanuatu at 7.30pm at Churchill Park.

At Churchill Park on the 26th, Vanuatu will take on the Junior Bula Boys at 2pm while Fiji will face the Solomon Islands.
