Rod Stewart announces 3rd New Zealand concert in Dunedin

Rod Stewart has added a third concert to his New Zealand tour, and it's good news for South Island fans.

The rocker will play in Dunedin's Forsyth Barr stadium on Wednesday, November 11 as part of his "The Hits" tour.

He last performed at the southern stadium in 2015 to a sell-out audience of 25,000.

The 75-year-old musician will also play two shows at Mission Estate in Napier.

His gig on Saturday, November 14 has already sold out, but tickets are still available to the Sunday night concert.

Tickets to the Dunedin concert will go on sale from 11am Friday, March 6, with a Vodafone presale from 10am Tuesday, March 3 until 10am Thursday, March 5,till the end of March.
