National Federation Party Vice President Riddhi Damodar has resigned from the position because of some concerns she had with the party’s vision and direction for the future.

Damodar says she has shared her concerns with the leader of the party on multiple occasions.

She says she will not make any further comments but has confirmed that she will attend the party’s AGM tomorrow to share her concerns with the other party members.

She adds her goal has always been to serve people to the best of her ability with love and support and she will continue her journey ahead.

Meanwhile, NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad confirms that Damodar’s resignation from the position has been accepted by the party.

He says he has had an amicable discussion with Damodar on a number of issues after which she decided to resign and he wants these issues to remain between the two of them and the party.

Prasad has also confirmed that Damodar is still a member of the party.
