People living in the greater Nasinu, Nakasi and Tamavua areas will be experiencing water disruptions due to reduced water inflow into the Waila Water Treatment Plant and reduced pumping capacity to the Wainibuku Reservoir.

The Water Authority of Fiji says the reduced inflow into Waila Treatment Plant is resulting in low flow into the clear water well and as a result pumping capacity to Wainibuku and other service reservoirs are impacted.

The affected areas includes Wainibuku, Makoi, Nepani, Nadawa, Rt Dovi Road, Dibulu, Lokia, Davuilevu Nakasi, Koronivia, Tovata, Kalabu, Nasinu, Kaliveitau, Veitata, Qaranivalu, Caubati, Daniva, Niubalavu, Raikiwai, Niuvula, Niusawa Lane, Tacirua East, Cunningham, Khalsa Road, Nagatugatu, Wrong Turn, Sakoca, Tacirua Heights, Tamavua Koro, Upper Ragg, Princes Road and the Vunuleba Settlement.
