All Blacks winger Sevu Reece scored twice while fullback Will Jordan added a match-winner in the second half as the Crusaders beat the Highlanders 34-19 in the Super Rugby Pacific last night.

Last night's derby match between the two New Zealand's South Island team was played with typical frenetic energy and featured five lead changes.

The result was in doubt until the 66th minute when Jordan waded through two tackles to finish a brilliant move by the Crusaders.

The move started by winger Leicester Fainga'anuku, who had scored three tries in the Crusaders' 42-32 first-round win over the Hurricanes.

Fainga'anuku's pass out of the back of the hand put winger George Bridge into space and he connected with his All Blacks teammate Jordan for the decisive try.

Another try for the Crusaders was scored by Tamaiti Williams.

In another match last night, the Reds beat the Waratahs 20-16.

Meanwhile, the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua will meet the Brumbies at 3.35pm today, the Blues will take on the Hurricanes at 6.05 tonight and the Rebels will play the Force at 8.45 tonight.
