The Queensland Reds will be looking to break a 10 year drought when they take on the Crusaders in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman tonight.

The Reds last beat the Crusaders in the 2011 final to win their first and only Super Rugby title.

The two sides have met each other 8 times since then with the Crusaders winning all of the matches.

The Reds came close to beating the defending champions last year but went down 24-20.

Meanwhile Sevu Reece returns on the wing for the Crusaders tonight while Suliasi Vunivalu starts at wing for the Reds.

Manasa Mataele and Filipo Daugunu will come off the bench for their respective sides.

The Crusaders take on the Reds at 9.45pm.

In other matches the Blues will face the Waratahs at 4.35 this afternoon while the Chiefs will play the Brumbies at 7.05 tonight.

Last night the Hurricanes thumped the Rebels 35-13 while the Highlanders beat the Western Force 25-15.
