Rebels out to utilise Koroibete’s strength

Interim Rebels coach Kevin Foote wants to get their star Wallabies winger, Marika Koroibete more involved in the Super Rugby Trans-Tasman competition.

Even though Koroibete did not receive a lot of chances to score, he still led the Super Rugby AU in the number of carries with 86, tackle busts with 26, 10 offloads and sitting second for line breaks.

The Rebels will open their Super Rugby Trans-Tasman campaign against the Blues at 9.45pm Saturday.

In other matches, the Highlanders will host the Reds at 7.05pm Friday, the Hurricanes will meet the Waratahs at 9.45pm Friday, the Crusaders will play the Brumbies at 7.05pm Saturday and the Chiefs take on the Western Force at 11.55pm Saturday.
