Swire Shipping Fijian Drua prop Peni Ravai is excited to be playing against his former teammates when the Drua takes on the Reds in round 12 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific.

The 34-year-old has been named to start at loosehead prop tomorrow played for the Reds in 2023 and 2024 before being signed by the Drua this season.

Ravai says he had a lot of good memories with the Reds and one of them was when they gave him another chance to play rugby again after retiring from club rugby in France in 2022.

He says it will be exciting now as he will be on the field with most of his friends that he had made while at the Reds, but this time, instead of playing with them, he will be playing against them.

Ravai is calling out all the supporters to come out in numbers to support the team and says though they have not been having a good season so far this year, they are confident of finishing strong.

The Drua will host the Reds at 2.05pm tomorrow at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.

In other matches this week, the Blues will host the Force at 7.05 tonight, the Hurricanes will take on the Chiefs at 7.05pm tomorrow, the Brumbies will take on the Waratahs at 9.35pm tomorrow, and the Highlanders will take on Moana Pasifika at 3.35pm Sunday.
