Ratu Tevita Mara Latianara installed as Gone Turaga na Vunivalu Vanua Korolevu

Ratu Tevita Mara Latianara has been installed as the Gone Turaga na Vunivalu Vanua o Korolevu in the province of Serua, assuming the chiefly role that has remained vacant since 2021.

Chairman of Serua Provincial Council, Tevita Boseiwaqa says it will be a historic moment for hundreds of people in Serua island as they witness the installation of Ratu Tevita, four years after the passing of his older brother, Ratu Emori Latianara.

Also present at the ceremony are the Turaga na Tui Namosi, Ratu Suliano Matanitobua, Minister for Housing Maciu Nalumisa and other government ministers.
