The legacy of the late Ratu Sir Lala Sukuna to strengthen culture through the educational system and traditional institutions is the focus now for the young iTaukei youths.

This has been highlighted by the iTaukei Affairs Board Deputy CEO, Josefa Toganivalu who says the Ministry is keen on getting the youths who will be the future leaders of Fiji to be up-skilled with traditional leaders.

Toganivalu says in the last Great Council of Chiefs, they came up with a framework for the iTaukei which was an outcome of the Ratu Sukuna Day last year and it will be something that they will be using for this year's celebration and also in the future.

May He says to groom the future leadership for the iTaukei communities, there is a need to strengthen culture. Meanwhile, the Ratu Sukuna Day will be held from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
