Members Ratu Sukuna Bowl Joint Secretariat took some time out from their busy schedule to spend Christmas Day with the children of St Christopher's Home in Nasinu and Dilkusha Home in Nausori.

The Joint Secretariat includes representatives from the Republic of Fiji Military Forces and the Fiji Police Force.

The group also donated bags of flour, rice, buckets of biscuits and other necessities needed at the two homes.

The Chairman of the Secretariat, Senior Superintendent of Police Livai Driu says the visitation was a way to let the children know that they were always in their thoughts and prayers.

He says despite their busy schedules, they wanted to show these children they are not forgotten and they will be around if they need assistance.

SSP Driu says the true meaning of the festive season is all about giving and they hope the small donation will assist in the daily running of the two homes.
