The Ratu Cakobau Memorial Church Choir is raising funds for essential choir items such as gowns, uniforms, files, and other resources that will strengthen the choir and support their continued service to the church.

Choir Leader of the Ratu Cakobau Memorial Church, Joseph Dobui, says the heartwarming fundraising event titled Lagalaga Sere ni Vanua & Tau Soli, being held this evening at Naulunivuaka, Bau Island, will bring together church members, families, and supporters from across Fiji for a night filled with faith, music, and fellowship.

Dobui adds that the choir will be performing 41 classic Fijian songs, showcasing the rich heritage and spiritual depth of traditional Fijian music.

He says the evening not only celebrated the beauty of Fijian music but also highlighted the spirit of unity and generosity that defines the Ratu Cakobau Memorial Church Choir.

Dobui says the event will be streamed live on the Ratu Cakobau Memorial Church Facebook page, allowing Fijians from around the world to join virtually and share in the experience.

He adds that supporters are encouraged to contribute through M-PAiSA at 9727923 or 9307585, helping ensure the choir continues to inspire hearts and strengthen community bonds through music.
