Rashmi Aslam is the new FICAC Deputy Commissioner.

President Jioji Konrote has made the appointment on the recommendation of the Judicial Services Commission following consultation by the Judicial Services Commission with the Attorney-General Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum.

Aslam has been with the Commission for eight years, having served as a Senior Prosecutor and then Manager Legal with experience and expertise in the field of anti-corruption.

He was made the Acting Deputy Commissioner last April after the retirement of former Deputy Commissioner George Langman.
