Former Fiji Water Flying Fijians coach Simon Raiwalui has acknowledged Scotland for making the commitment of coming to play in Fiji against the Flying Fijians for the second time in 8 years and hopes more tier 1 teams will make the same commitment.

In a post on his official social media page, Raiwalui says Scotland is one of the few top-tier teams that continues to make that commitment to touring the Pacific.

He says hopefully other tier one teams will follow and he adds that if these top-tier teams do, they will be looked after.

The Flying Fijians kept their winning record against the Scots on home soil following their 29-14 win at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva on Saturday, in what was their only 3rd encounter in Fiji in as many years.

They now turn their focus to the Pacific Nations Cup competition that kicks off next month.

The Flying Fijians will take on Tonga in their first match of the PNC at 3pm on the 30th of August at the HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
